Band

Gita Delvenakiotis was the founder of the Girl Band and is the lead singer and pianist. She studied classical piano at UdK Berlin and won several awards for her performances. She is also trained in Hindustani Music , Tabla, she plays the greek Lyra and is a composer of several movie scores. She has devoted her life to music. Since her early childhood she was performing on big stages all over the world. but since she´s playing Jazz and Soul Music she really felt like this is where she belongs. She published some electronic stuff with DJ from London on the famous Sampler United Frequencies of Trance and with Berlin Music Labels.

Tanya Bartels is originated in Ukraine and studied Saxophone. She also sings and plays the guitar. She played in various Gala-Bands and Showbands all around the globe. Her outstanding talent and her charming appeal make a very special mixture, that really shines bright on stage. She played in Shanghai for the German Ball, in the O2 World in Prague, Mailand, and many other Corporate Events in Germany and Europe. She is very elegant und makes a really breath taking performance with her saxophone on stage.

Lizzy Scharnofske plays the drums and also sings while playing. She studied Jazz Drums in the Conservatoire in Amsterdam and finished her studies with a Bachelor degree at the Conservatoire National de la Danse et la Musique in Paris. She won several awards, such as Jugend jazzt, Winning Jazz, Jazzin, Kammermusik Förderpreis and 2012 she got the Solistenpreis of Neuer Deutscher Jazzpreis. She also produces electronic music and created a unique performance on electronic body pads. She is a very good singer too and she can sing while she´s playing the drums, very rare and very spacial. And she sure is one of best female drummers in europe.

Candy was born with a beautiful voice. Some girls just have that. She has a deep timbre and a full and soft sound in her voice. She made her first steps on stage with our Gala Band Pearls of Berlin at the Mc Donalds Charity Gala with great success. She sang her favorite song “Satisfaction” with such sweetness, that everyone was really delighted. She is a great talent and we will hopefully be performing much more often with her in the future. She is  currently working on more new songs and she and our new band member Anne will soon also have a new girl band called Dixie Pearls. That will be Rock, Folk on Pop only!

Daniela Steidle is a very talented Saxophone player and singer. She is playing the sax since her very early childhood and had played in many Coverbands, Partybands and even german Volksmusik Bands. This is because she is a girl of southern Germany. She graduated with Jazz Saxophone at the Univesity of Arts in Nürnberg and plays all the saxophones, clarinet and the flute. She is musically very gifted and has such a good timing, that we love it when she does the shakers when we perform. She was on tour with many well-known artists and played for big musical production all over europe and had gigs on Tv.

Anne Begett is our newest girl band member. She has a beautiful deep voice and can sing really good backing voices as well as lead voice. She is playing a half-acoustic guitar and has a folky kind of rock style when she plays. Since she´s with the band we also do Folk and Country music, that´s nice. Although she´s very young, she was touring with cover bands all over germany and has a lot of experience on stage. She also teaches at a Berlin school music and conducts the choir. She does that so beautifully that her kids love to sing and with this she helps a lot of kids find their way to their real destination. Soon she and Candy will have a new band, called Dixie Pearls, we can´t wait.
